Confirmation is a rite of passage in which young people prepare to publicly confess their faith, claim the promises of their baptism as their own, and become adult members of the Christian community. Confirmation—which is called “Affirmation of Baptism” in our worship book—is a stepping stone along the Christian disciple’s life-long journey of faith.

Holy Cross’ confirmation class is a 3-year process starting in 6th grade. We meet during Faith Learning Hour, each week at 9:00am. Check out our syllabus for this year here. Please reach out with any questions by contacting Pastor Hilkert at nathan@holycrossathens.com.
